Simchat Beit Hashoevah in the Beit Hamikdash

The song of the Levites in the Beit Hamikdash as they lifted their trumpets to their lips and played their musical instruments was indescribable. At that moment, their joy peaked, soaring to the heavens! Every year, the Jewish people united on the Festival of Succot to celebrate the Simchat Beit Hashoevah for seven days in the Beit Hamikdash. There was nothing that captured Huvy’s heart like expressing the ecstasy and joy of this event which the Sages describe as “One who did not see the Simchat Beit Hashoevah, never saw joy in his life!”
